During the SY 2024-25, the Santa Barbara County School Wellness Council will host the 11th Annual School Wellness Summit. We are encouraging a diverse group of stakeholders from the general public and the school community (including district administration, school board members, school site administrators, parents, students, and representatives of the school food authority, teachers of physical education, school health professionals) to register.

Agenda
Administrators, wellness committee members, teachers, school health officials, child nutrition staff, school board members, parents and health and wellness community partners are invited to the 11th Annual School Wellness Summit on October 23, 2024. Join school wellness experts and gain valuable knowledge, tools, and resources to help transform schools into centers of health and wellness.
The annual School Wellness Summit is the main forum to bring together school communities to collaborate and engage in professional development opportunities that focus on improving the health and wellness of the entire school community, especially students, and to support them in their journey to academic achievement and leading healthy and productive lives.
The agenda for the 2024 School Wellness Summit will be on the Whole Learner - Whole School, Whole Child, Whole Community wellness, mindfulness, staff wellness, wellness policy, as well as highlighting school wellness champions.
