The Santa Barbara County School Wellness Council will host the Annual School Wellness Summit. We are encouraging a diverse group of participants from the general public and the school community (including district administration, school board members, school site administrators, wellness committee members, parents and caregivers, students, and representatives of the child nutrition department, teachers, school health professionals and community partners) to register the Annual School Wellness Summit. Join school wellness experts and gain valuable knowledge, tools, and resources to help transform school districts into centers of health and wellness.

Agenda

The annual School Wellness Summit is the main forum to bring together school communities to collaborate and engage in professional development opportunities that focus on improving the health and wellness of the entire school community, especially students, and to support them in their journey to academic achievement and leading healthy and productive lives.

The agenda for the School Wellness Summit will be on the Whole Learner - Whole School, Whole Child, Whole Community wellness, mindfulness, staff well-being, local school wellness policy, as well as highlighting school wellness champions.
